What is magic about 12 inch long bass. Why not 14 or 15? Or 11?

Most of the tournaments here in Tennessee usually impose a 12" limit on the
spots/Kentucky bass. "Bob La Londe" wrote in message ... Due to slot limits allowing some awfuly small legal fish most series int his area have imposed a 13" minimum+ plus must meet all other local leagl size and catch requirements. I have heard of catch limits on slot limit lakes that could have been weighed in a sandwich bag. I just hope they didn't put a float ball on those fish. -- ** Public Fishing and Boating Forums ** www.YumaBassMan.com |

That can be embarrassing. Couple of years ago on Lake Oroville, I could not
seem to buy a bass. So coming out of the middle fork in the no wake area, figured I would troll up a nice trout for dinner. The Rapala CD-5 about 3.4" long caught 3 4" bass in about 100 yards. Wife was laughing so hard, she almost hurt herself. Asked if I now knew how to catch bass. Bill "Jerry Barton (NervisRek)" wrote in message ... If I remember correctly, the crankbait was bigger. No magic number here Ronnie, I'm with you. I'll weigh in whatever length
fish the rules say I can. The only difference between an eight inch fish and a 14 inch fish is the weight, and the difference between a 16 inch fish and 22 inch fish is what?????? weight!!! Doesn't affect my ego one way or the other. "Ronnie Garrison" wrote in message .. . What is magic about 12 inch long bass. Why not 14 or 15?
