Some colors are supposed to be better for seeing into the water. Do you have any practical experience with polarized lenses or do you just have too much time on your hands? I realized it was a serious question. I can't be certain, but I like to think I wouldn't have answered otherwise. I'm also aware that some colors are reputed to be better for viewing things below the surface of the water. Evidently, so are you. I don't recall which colors get the most votes but I'll bet a shiny new nickel the matter is not without controversy. It looks like you may already have done a bit of research on this, so you probably know more about it than I do. I've used both amber and gray. I like amber. Others prefer gray. You may already have some experience with polarized lenses.....I don't know. If not, your best bet is to try all the colors you can find. In all likelihood, you'll find that you like one color better than the others. Choose the color you like. Wolfgang |
