Most trolling motors are mounted to the bow on the left side. There are
brackets that lift the motor out of the water and allow the motor to lay down in a locked down mode. Try just lifting it straight up when docking instead of laying it down. This would still give you access. Once on the water and ready for traveling lay it down in the lock down position to prevent damage from vibration. Sarge |
