Electric Outboard Engine

a question pops up in my mind pretty quickly, i.e. if the physics are
realistic, wouldn't Minnkota, et al, be in the market already?

I fished with a gentleman who had a 20 hp OB with a golf cart motor in
place of the power head, he used it to get from point A to point B in
Maryland reservoirs, he used golf cart batteries which were expensive. I
am sure the motor didn't produce any where near 10 hp maybe 5. I don't
think it was very practical

Bill, I am living proof your statement is flawed. That would assume that the
"big guys" are smarter than the rest of us, which obviously ain't so.
