Ping John Kerr

John,
Just picked up the book _Sowbelly: The Obsessive Quest for the World
Record Largemouth Bass_ by Monte Burke. It has a pic of a John Kerr in
it. I haven't started it yet, but is that you or your son?

Pat, yes, that's John Jr., bu he is really disappointed with Burke's
book. He really trashed some of the California guys, and took a lot of
liberty with some things that were said. Mike Long is one of the
greatest big bass fishermen on the planet, and one of the nicest guys
you would ever want to meet, and Burke really did a number on him in the
book...he might be talking to a "lawyer" soon . Mike is John's fishing
partner, and he was more than a little upset with how Burke portrayed
him...totally off base!

John had taken Monte fishing before, and they got along great, John was
really surprised when he read the book. Oh well, I guess what ever sells
"copy" grin.
