Default OT Case History

The patient in this case history is anonymous of course,
but damned if he doesn't remind me of a certain boy lawyer
from Rowan County. ;-)

Latest word is that the old, "It'll make you go blind." might apply
with Viagra and other such meds...

FIRST PUT ON YOUR GLASSES.

Okay. Some doctors have decided that enough of their patients using
Viagra and such have gone blind that the FDA should be warning folks.
Other doctors think that since the ones most apt to go blind on their
own are also those most apt to use the meds, that it's a wash and
they'd have gone blind anyway. Heart patients, diabetics, etc. have a
better chance of blindness than otherwise healthy guys in the first
place. And a much better chance of asking their docs for meds for
erectile disjunction.

At a wild guess, if the meds do hurry blindness along, I'd go for it
being in relaxing the veins and arteries and consequent expansion and
constriction or vice versa having an effect on ocular pressures and
those nasty little blood vessels at the back of the eye that do the
macular degeneration thing.

I think a lot of people who _don't_ have any of the above problems
except erectile dysfunction, or not often enough function to please
them, are using the stuff, sometimes without their doctors having a
clue. But that's just overheard gossip sorts of things I've run
across. We'll have to see how the washout from that goes. If eye
doctors even ever ask patients if they've taken erectile meds.

Nothing anyone can do about the hair on your palms, except recommend
Nair. Or letting it grow out and hoping it'll help with the friction
part of whatever it is you're doing. Details are not necessary, thank
you.
