Not looking good for me either fellas, I'm on the Hudson River that
weekend
:-(

Is that one written in stone Steve?

Yep, it's written in stone. I took vacation from the fire department to get
those dates and I can't change the vacation days. Plus, I'm going to be in
Wyoming elk hunting the regular time of the NWC.

So far, my plans are to be there. I think Joe mentioned bringing someone
with him, so I've got to talk Dave into riding up with me. Whatcha say
Dave?

How about a little information about the structure of the lake Steve? Is
it shallow like Boom? Any trouble for Jerry this year? How's running on
that lake? You know I'm a sissy in shallow water...

BassMr could ride with you too! Wadda ya say Joe?

If I can survive a day with Randy, laughing our asses off, I'm sure you and
I can make it through a day. I especially liked remembering all of the old
places we haunted in Atlanta.

Two things I want to do before I die.
1. Catch a nice smallmouth since I have never ever fished a "smallmouth
lake".
2. Eat walleye, since I have always heard they are the best to eat.
After that I would like to fish with Jerry Barton to see if we can fish
w/out laughing our butts off !
Then just take me home Jesus!

I'm going to try & make it. Couple of different guys I need to ask to
come along. 3-4 days of fishing, smallies & largies in the water.
Shouldn't be to hard talking someone into it. Also I must replace a
guy
at work that just quit or I'll be knee deep in #@*@^ by then.

Man, I hope you can make it, you'll have a blast. And this will be in
water that's more to your taste

LOL, I wasn't criticizing. Just noticing how many people seemed to have
issue with the date. I know how much work it is to host a tournament.

I just wanted to let people know that this wasn't just an arbitrary change,
that I too have scheduling issues.

Oh, you should be able to catch a nice smallmouth on Mohawksin. Walleye?
Eh, I'm not all that impressed with them. I personally think they're rather
bland. But northern pike on the other hand, now that's some tasty eating,
if you can deal with the bones......

*** Hire Jack Dalzell as a guide for Lake Erie!

2. Eat walleye, since I have always heard they are the best to eat.

*** I don't eat fish, but Rob Storm grilled some walleye for us at one of
the classics, and it was great!

*** You can't. Plain and simple. If you're on the boat with Jerry, your
sides are going to ache when you get home. Hey, Randy is another one. I
almost fell out of the boat last time!

Then just take me home Jesus!

Bass_Mr then you will definitely have to make it to Mohawksin. It is a
smallmouth factory, and definitely the dominant species (over
largemouth) in that lake.

You will have a blast, I only got to spend a couple hours on it with
Steve, but I got a good taste of what the lake has to offer!

Chris
