Yes. Jeff, IJ, JR, John, Tom and I all bailed this a.m. Just not looking forward to hanging in the rain all day for a hatch that may or may not come off because of it. The bugs came off just fine. Vince, sorry we missed seeing you again. The few people left were down at Ingleby for the day. Jim, Handyman and I fished #16 bluewing olives in the rain all afternoon (got possibly my biggest brown ever on top in the pouring rain in a foot of crystal clear water) and the coffin flies came on like a wall of bug meat at dusk. We said goodbye to the Handy one about 6 and didn't see him again before we left. We stopped by his trailer this AM and heard a loud snoring so we let him sleep and got on the road. Makella was due to return, so he and Handyman may continue a fitfull clavelet through Sunday. -- Stan Gula http://gula.org/roffswaps |
