You might be referring to the holes that some props have at the base.
Usually they are plugged with a rubber plug that can be drilled or completely removed. The idea is that these holes can give you better acceleration from a stop by allowing the prop to get up to speed quicker. C.M.German wrote: What is "Propeller Ventilation"? |
