Digital camera for vest

....you didn't say what price range you're looking at, so I'll offer
another suggestion, less expensive than the Pentax mentioned.
The Nikon Coolpix 2100 or 2200 2mp will fit in the palm of your hand
and takes standard NiMH rechargeable batteries. Find it on ebay in the
$125 range +/- you can still find them brand new in the box. This
camera takes fine pictures and is the one I use instead of carrying my
bigger, heavier Olympus. Invest another 30 bucks in a waterproof bag,
use the camera in the bag, from http://www.waterproofcases.net/410.html
and you're safe from Reiding your camera. HTH
