After reading about the benefits of braided lines for the past couple of years, I decided to put a spool on my baitcaster - Stren 40lb. One thing I noted right off the bat is you just can't cut this stuff with standard nippers. Even good scissors have difficulty. What do you guys use? Thanks, Dick I use the scissors on my mini-leatherman. But several guys I know swear by KIDS Fiskars available at walmart and the like for a few bucks. Round nosed, so you can keep 'em in your pocket, and amazingly, they cut superline pretty well. |
