![]() "LurkerNoMore" wrote in message news ![]() Hello I am working with my local Lake Home Owners association on a large scale carp removal project using electrofishing. Before I get flamed, let me say that I enjoy carp fishing also. Its just that our lake has become overrun with them, and we would like to restore some balance. Anyway, I would like to see the carp go to good use, instead of just going to a landfill. We are located in mid-Maryland (Frederick county). I would guess that we will be able to remove about 2-3,000 fish, average weight maybe 3-5 lbs. I have the supplies to build holding pens to hold them live (for a limited time)until someone can come pick them up. I any of you know someone who would be interested in them, for their private pond/lake, fee fishing, food, or anything else, please put them in contact with me. My email address in . Thanks Mike That's alot of gefilte fish |
