Does the Slide Inn have a common room? Tables in the rooms that can
be moved onto the porches for tying while watching the river?

If I attempt to bring some tying supplies, my weight limit is gonna be
busted.

I have promised you to bring some raffia to show you how I make the mottled
raffia. That is already packed. What fly do I need the furnace hackle for?

Thanks for remembering the raffia. Thought I might need to tie a few Adult
Stones or Stimulators. I am bringing a #2 brown saddle for tying. The
pattern called for "furnace". Didn't have a "furnace" saddle.
Guy
Repacking and double checking for the 2nd time.

Since you're bringing the tying stuff, can I bring some materials and use
your vise as needed? I may bring a vise, but will have to see how my
packing goes.

Of course you may use my vice! I packed my old Thompson "A" for the big
stuff and tossed the Renzetti Traveler in just in case. I packed minimal
materials. Stuff for stone fly nymphs & adults, hare's mask, various
dubbings, turkey, pheasant, partridge, elk and deer hair and a bunch of
hooks - hopefully a "good" tyer will just use my stuff to tie and give me a
few in return as needed.
Guy :-)

So, what do you need from me? :-)
Bringing some extra Frank's Fighting Craws along. Tied up 3 dozen this
weekend. One dozen went to Wayne Knight, one half dozen will be in my
raffle prize, leaving 18 for boat bribes to go with the beer. Really pretty
size 10s, perfect for the Madison.
Will bring some snowshoe rabbits feet for Usuals and Coyote Uglies (Tom
Littletons caddis emerger).

Don't think I really need anything Frank but a fishing fix, cold beer,
coffee, burgers and a bunch of hungry trout. We can probably get anything
else we need at the local fly shop - wherever that may be - Where is the
closest fly shop to the Inn?
Guy

And, on another note. Who is attending from Oregon? I would gladly
appreciate them stopping by Freddy's and picking up an assortment of the
Deschutes Brewery products for consumption. I would even reimburse double
the bottle deposit to cover shipping!!!...
