What are the best spiners for perch?
What line should I use and what size trace? Thanks in advance for any suggestions - Dave B |

Standard line around 4 -6 lbs seems fine - if your spinning then you quite often get get snagged so you want something you can give a tug on ! Trace size - off the shelf mate, I use an 8" or 14". Big perch often go with big pike which is a pity as it means that they rarely get a chance to give a proper account of themselves. They will take a large wet fly btw. Cheerio, -- |
