Default Perch spinners or lures

What are the best spiners for perch?
What line should I use and what size trace?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions - Dave B

The wee ondex spinners work just fine for me.
Standard line around 4 -6 lbs seems fine - if your spinning then you quite
often get get snagged so you want something you can give a tug on !
Trace size - off the shelf mate, I use an 8" or 14".
I use an 8ft leeda rim spin rod which is great sport when fishing for perch
of any size.

But they'll take mepps #5 and larger.

Trace and line requirements really depend on the local pike. Big perch
often go with big pike which is a pity as it means that they rarely get a
chance to give a proper account of themselves.

They will take a large wet fly btw.

Cheerio,
