Default Okeechobee Pictures...

Look for a feature in your software that came with your camera to "batch
resize", or something similar. In my software for my Fujifilm camera
(FinePix), it gives that option. Have a look...

If you try zipping them, they might compress quite a bit smaller then you
would expect. If you get them down to a meg or two, go ahead and email
them, and I'll take care of it for you...

The problem that I'm facing is the fact that I've got about 50 2mb pictures.

They're there for the taking...Each is about 7mbs each so it'll be slow with
a dial-up service.
