You'll probably want at least an 11wt and some *real* long handled forceps.

The event was held during bear season a couple of years ago. There were no
problems associated with the timing.......um......well, except that we got
adopted by a stray dog......who took up more than her fair share of porch
space.

Wolfgang
who, truth be told, is much more comfortable with the idea of people chasing
bears all over creation than vice versa.

Bevin: The last fly rod that I saw that was broken by "switchin a bar"
only had tha top six or eight inches broken off the old wonderod and he
was still using the rod a couple of decades later. This guy also showed
us some genuwine Yallerhammers that his grandad had tied. Way Cool!

The FFF Southern Council Conclave is in Mountain Home, Arkansas on
October 6-8 and I was kind of thinking about heading over to North
Carolina the next week, or I could just head to Colorado.

Charlie, If any of your group decides to try Eseke's Brew Pub in Taos,
I would suggest staying away from the Green Chili Beer. That is a great
time of year to be in Northern New Mexico. I remember watching mny Dad
catch trout on bubble gum at Junebug campground between Red River and
Questa back in the 1950's.
