Norman Speed Clip frustration
Yep, that'll happen, especially when used frequently. The metal weakens and
loses "memory", thus not closing all the way and forming a nice tight circle. Your lure works it's way into the gap and "zing", it's gone! I have been cutting off the split ring on my crankbaits and using the Speedclip. Well I lost one of my favorite lipless cranks. It came unclipped during the cast.
