You make a good point. I have cleaned and serviced my old Johnson spincast
with the hope that it will bring me enough pleasure to keep me on the water while I start the baitcast learning curve.

I just won a SHIMANO CURADO 200B5 on ebay for $85 shipped. The retrieve is
slower then the Guide Gear® 11-Ball Bearing Baitcaster, and I paid a little more.The strong reviews for the Curado made up my mind. Thanks "
