No chance in hell I'm doing such a big project again. It's affecting my
way of living, something that I knew it would, but when it starts affecting my time at fishing and hunting it has gone tooooooo far ;-) /Roger Unless, of course, the next project is in New Zeeland, Iceland, Argentina or hmmm well you get my point |

Yeah, I know what you mean about affecting your way of living.
Sometimes things sound pretty good, and the thought of the changes in lifestyle seem like a relatively minor deal. Then, however, when they are actually happening, its a very BIG deal. The next stage is worse, so watch out for it. Slowly (or not so slowly), the 'temporary lifestyle' you accepted, the one that impinged on your old way of life, grows to become your new lifestyle, and it gets harder and harder to get back to the old ways. It sneaks up on you very cleverly, like that few extra pounds that subtley becomes part of you rather than some temporary thing hanging off of you. My advice, from someone who has been led far far away from his 'way of life'.....don't stray, don't delay. Get your ass back in the center of how you want to live as soon as you can. You're already living on the wrong side of the danger zone, and the changes are taking place... -riverman |
