Default What's on your boat?

I've got a Garmin 240 on the console and a Lowrance X-97 on the bow hooked
to a universal sonar. I ordered a X-87 with the rig from Cabela's but they
sent a X-97 instead. I can really find those deep bass now. Remember, the
temp function does not work with universal transducers.

In my search for a new fishfinder for the front of my boat, I would like

to
get an idea as to what you have on yours. Right now, I've got a little

Eagle
FishEasy, but when I get my new trolling motor, I want to replace the

finder
too.

My plans are/were, to get a Garmin 240 for the console and move my Garmin
160 to the front. I can get the 240 minus the transducer for about $120,
which is a really good price for the unit, and since my trolling motor

will
have universal sonar, I won't need a transducer anyway. BUT... Looking at
the Eagle 480's, they're pretty sharp too. The downside of getting this

one
would be that if I put it on the console, I'd have to re-drill some holes,
and there aint much sense in putting that unit on the front, since I would
consider that overkill.

But, what do you have? And why?

Lowrance Eagle? What's the difference besides the memory card and the
fact that the Lowrance remembers all your settings? That last one is a major
difference though... LOL. I know on the Eagle I have, I always have to reset
the thing to my settings every time I turn it on, and being that it's on
front... I usually turn it off when I'm running across the lake.
