Just for grins, I went to the website. There is friggen nothing there other
than some looser who wants me to send him my email addy so he can spam me
with his adverts. The site is about as childish as you can get (a pic of a
deer and a bass). Come on guy. Get a clue.
If you are going to announce your site, have something there. What a waste
of bits.

There is one, count 'em one sentence on this web site and they get it wrong:
"To join our mailing list and recieve information about updates to our
website and product addition fill in the black below, Thank you. "

I love lambasting ignorant spammers. I get so little joy in my life, I need
something.

I rather like the ones like this that are so fugly dumb that they
announce too soon and have nothing. It makes it easy for everyone to
go once and ignore them thereafter. Otherwise there _are_ people who
will encourage them by buying things, the way some will buy from
telemarketers.

Well, this guy has only been posting on usenet for a few months,
specializing in posts with no body (only subject lines), and cut and
paste posts from newswires with no comment. Apparently has been trying
to make his money on penny stocks.

Sounds like this George A Buck company (which I take particular offense
to, by the way) is a shill in the making. Lets wait and see his new
incarnation....

Personally, I am not offended by the name 'George'.

Before anybody goes to look at his site out of curiosity, be aware that he
can trap your IP address when you view his page. This isn't harmful to you
in any way, but he can tell where you are from. He might just want to
collect number of responses and locations of visitors to his site so he can
gauge how effective his Usenet spamming is.

And neither am I, good thing. Its just weird to see someone with that
name, first and last, posting here.... I don't think I've run into
another one IRL more than once before. Imagine if his name was 'Stan
Gula'...

Well, okay, THAT would be weird.

Well it wasn't really ment as a joke, the website and company are just
something trying to learn bunsiness through baptism by fire. As far as
the penny stock, it's doing well the last week and a half my penny
stock has gone up 273%. I posted the links beofer the release just
because I wanted some feedback. I guess I got some. Thanks for the
spelling fix.

Well, if you want business baptism by fire, you came to the right
place. Don't spam us.

--riverman

Lets hope you don't get a penny stock baptism by fire, too!

However it was meant, your Website is a better joked about than taken
seriously. It's not very good.

Maybe you should have learned about the 'Net before you started
advertising in the newsgroups. Conversational newsgroups are not
meant for selling things. There are for-sale groups for that. What
you are doing does not meet the denotation of SPAM, but it meets the
connotation of it and is not welcome here, nor will it be welcome in
most newsgroups.

The only acceptable way to advertise in newsgroups is to have your URL
in your sig line (learn how to make one that's not longer than 4 lines
long) and contribute to the conversations. Eventually people may come
to your site, if your conversations look interesting or give good
information.

The 'Net is a tricky place and it's best to read a group for at least
a couple of weeks before making even one post.

You have made an unfortunate start by annoying many of us. I'd
suggest you just go away quietly and come back next spring without
advertising (other than in your sig) at us. If you have anything
worthy to say about flyfishing, that is. For all we know, you're a
bait chucker.

Pushing any or several penny stocks on the 'Net will open you to scorn
and make people suspicious of your honest.
