![]() "Dave" wrote in message ... Is there such a thing as a published list showing what species can be caught around the UK at different times of the year? This information seems to be taken for granted in all the books I've had a look at. For it to be accurate it sounds like a very complicated list certain marks fish their heads off for a particular species at a given time while a few miles up the coast theres nothing doing best thing to look for is your local sea fishing forum and skim through the catch reports. Angling Times used to be very good on that when I was much younger but its been a long while so I don't know whats the mag of choice. We are up for a trip very soon as the lads are hitting Whiting and Cod ( according to posted reports) but near you it could be Rays or Hounds. Derek |
