Why not just strip half the line off one of your existing reels? I have a reel in my hand with a 6:1 ratio. It retrieves 26" of line per turn of the reel handle with a full spool. That's 4.25" per revolution of the spool. If I strip off line until the spool diameter is 1.1", it retrieves less than 21" per revolution. |
