There is something weird about those fish Steve, I think the bass have

been
mating with the pumpkinseeds, just not natural shaped bass, So when can we
go? : )

How soon can you get here? I'm not doing anything until the 31st of the
month.

I know, it mated with a Pontiac. You know, Wider is Better.... I've caught
a lot of nice smallmouth bass in my time and I've never seen any with as
deep of a body as the fish in this lake. The one pictured is exceptionally
deep, but all of the fish were like that. I can't wait until the fish get
really active, and I know my way around the lake better. We probably
covered less than 1% of the total water in 6 hours, so I can only imagine
that there's other places that are even better!

I know a guy that lives on the lake that is a die-hard walleye angler. He
told me that if I promised to remove some of those $$%*%^@ smallmouth, he'd
show me where to fish the lake. He was complaining that the smallies have
been pushing his walleyes off some of his favorite spots. He told me that
he can't get a bait rig to the bottom on some of his favorite locations
before some blankety-blank smallmouth grabs the bait!

I think I'm going to be fishing this lake more in the future.
