Still, as a fellow academic, I think you can hardly help but admire
dedication in research. I mean, to be sure, determining that particular
gown doesn't flatter one is but the work of a moment but, what with ever
changing styles, the certainty that one doesn't look good in dresses at all
is the loving labor of a lifetime.

short hemline looks most fetching on the young and the fit; but, past a
certain age, one should be very wary of showing one's ass in public.

If that's the reasoning, then the hemline would need to be lengthened every

True enough. Comes a time in the life of every diva when the affront of
having her ass pinched is overtaken by that of not. Davie, alas, is
evidently not the winsome lass he once was. Ah well, ya win some, ya lose
