Good to see the Godfather of the r.o.f.b. is doing well. I saw you had a
close call, and had to turn things over to your lieutenant and his pit boss.

Oh, everyone had to study Buck Perry at one time or another, for he is the
father of structure fishing. But No. While old Buck had a lot of great
ideas, most of his methodologies don't apply to today's modern bass
fishing....... Yes, many still do.

My theory or ideas have come from reading what seem like a ton of research
papers from several universities and fishing manufacturers R&D. As I also
want to experiment with the color black. It appears to be the prime color
used in research. So another thing I want to do next year is create and use
all black lures (plastics, crackbaits, spinnerbaits, topwaters, jerkbaits,
etc.) - everything. Makes sense since it is the only color seen in all
conditions.
