![]() "Rich" wrote in message ... My wife and I have recently moved to Central Ontario - East of the Peterborough Area. I just joined this group and haven't really noticed any posts relating to Canadian fishing areas, let alone Ontario. I'm looking to do some Walleye fishing through the winter months (i.e. now) and I haven't seen a Walleye specific NG - I was thinking this was the closest thing. I don't want to do any ice fishing, I'm very hesitant to walk out on an ice covered lake. Does anyone have any tips for finding running rivers and gaining access to them? I'm worried that I'll find some place and end up on private property. I'm yet to find an easy way to determine if my presence will be a problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will continue reading the group for tips on tackle to be used, although I love to try my own stuff and laugh at myself when I fail. It's all part of the enjoyment of fishing. I saw a "welcome" thread to new joiners. I'm one - so thanks ![]() Rich This is a Bass centric group. Try www.walleyecentral.com for walleye and your area. |
