texas yankees? that explains many, many things about my experiences
with the loneback...uh...the brokestar... um, with that place.

Well, I guess I'm pretty much officially a Texan by now, after
having lived here for 25+ years. Of course, I grew up in Nashville.
(Dunno if that's a good or bad thing as far as Nawth Cackalackians are
concerned. :-) But I'm pretty sure I ain't a Yanqui. (We keep them
all in Houston.)

And thanks to the two Wayne's and Jeff for the advice. I'd
forgotten about Townsend, so I'm checking it out for rental cabins
(SWMBO and I prefer them to regular motels). And I guess I'll pack my
waders, a cold weather jacket, some tiny dries, and maybe even a few
nymphs ... assuming I remember where I put them.


Chuck Vance (btw, wasn't it the "war of northern aggression"?)
