Look around you, stevie, it's been over two weeks......nobody cares. Most Americans have probably once again forgotten who Dick Cheney is by now. Whittington has already left the hospital, mumbled some exculpatory drivel and resubmerged into a doubtless well deserved anonymity. Hell, Cheney could have killed him and it wouldn't make any difference. Witnesses could have testified that Cheney shot him deliberately.....and it STILL wouldn't have made any difference. Wolfgang who knows that precedent counts for a lot in government and law.......cheny wouldn't be the first sitting u.s. vice president to escape prosecution for murder. ![]() |

Here's the CURRENT top ten "too funny for TV" on Letterman's web site: Top Ten Surprises In The Dick Cheney Interview # The bandolier of bullets across his naked chest # First use of phrase "puttin' a cap in that old fool's ass" since Vice President Spiro Agnew # Every 3 minutes Cheney needed a "Heart Attack Break" # Kept plugging "Big Momma's House 2" # Vowed to hunt himself down and bring himself to justice # Wearing flannel shirt borrowed from lesbian daughter # Robert Blake and O.J. called in to lend their support # Deeply regrets not finishing the guy off No doubt this story will soon subside, if no other reason than that the Bush administration is trying award the contract for our Eastern seaboard port operations to a state-owned Dubai corporation. How stupid is that? Bush threatens to veto any legislation preventing it. It would be his first veto. Two people in his administration, including Treasury Secretary Snow, have financial ties to the Dubai corporation. Dubai, part of the United Arab Emirates, recognized the Taliban in Afghanistan, laundered money for Bin Laden, and the Emirates were an operational and financial base for the 9/11 hijackers. The administration's response? "Trust us." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Once a politician becomes a laughingstock, he remains a laughingstock. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |
