He likely would like to get out and see if his current techniques will work. The makeup of the lake the tournament is on is significantly different from where he fishes daily. Also, the lake the tournament is on recieves a TON of tournament pressure as opposed to his comparatively un-fished home lake. The fishking clique is pretty much the only pressure on his home lake.
