Whats the trick? http://trunks.secondfoundation.org/files/psychic.swf No trick. The symbol for 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72 & 81 is always the same. -- Ken Fortenberry |

Hmm, pretty cool. No idea. Tried multiple numbers just in case the
symbol was the key. No, each time it popped the appropriate and different symbol. I'm stumped. Frank Reid |

Frank Reid Frank, Frank, Frank..._YOU_!? On something like this? Note that the symbols change each time, IOW, 18, etc. is not the same symbol each time you "try again." HTH, R |

Whats the trick? http://trunks.secondfoundation.org/files/psychic.swf It's simple. By adding the two digits and then subtracting the result, your answer is constrained to a certain set of numbers. For example, all the numbers in the range of 20 to 29 yield the result of 18. So, of the set of 100 2-digit numbers, there is a set of only 10 possible results. All the numbers in that result set are paired with the same symbol. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |

You're right. I looked at it for three minutes the first time. With
the change each time and the subset of viable numbers available (any time you add the numbers of a two-digit number and then subtract that sum from the original number, there are only 9 possible answers) after "subtracting," you give the 9 possible answers the same symbol. It will work every time. Frank Reid |

Still seems pretty spooky though.
