Default One Sock Lake Continued

Well hit the lake again this morning and the rain was just ending.
Little bit of wind and not much of a bite. Dave brought his camcorder
with him so we could film some. Well there wasn't many fish caught
maybe 11 or so between us and nothing special at that.

The best part of the day was going under the bridge Dave says "hey
what's that on the water?" I look back and sure enough there is some
weird looking creature on top of the water. I troll in reverse and sure
enough see one of the biggest spiders I have ever seen. The spider
heads towards the side of the boat and it's then I realize that by
looking at Dave rock the boat to keep the spider off, That Dave is
afraid of spiders. So what's a buddy do? Well a real buddy would just
reverse away from this monster spider leaving it to be eaten by some
fish. But you see Dave had just cast and caught my line snapping off
the only SW buzzbait I owned. So I lean my worm into the water and let
old spidey hitch a ride. I started with small circles around the "dave"
vicinity, He now really starting to get nervous utters the F word about
200 times, threatens me with a crankbait to the face and shrieks like a
school girl with skinned knee, i continued my harrasment retrieveing
old spidey two more times jst to torture dave a bit more. All the time
the camera is running. Nothing funnier than today

Making my last payment on my boat on Monday, so that means I ought to have
just enough funds to get me there. I usually just rely on my winnings to get
me back!

Funny story Randy... did you get that on video?

Bite me!!!

That was a really big spider man. He swam like the Mark Spitz of spiders
too. I'm not scared of your everyday corner dweller, but this thing was in a
league of his own man!!!

That was funny though.
