David J. Babineau will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetary
on Wednesday, June 28. DJ, as he was known to his family and friends,
was killed in Iraq while serving with the 101st Screaming Eagles
Airborne Division. DJ died outright; his two friends were captured,
tortured and beheaded.

DJ is my nephew, a decent kid who was doing what he always wanted to
do - serve his country. He leaves a wife, Rondi, and three kids. DJ
grew up in Springfield, Ma and graduated from the Science/Tech
Highschool. We will travel to Arlington next week to honor DJ and do
our best to comfort and help his wife and family.

Our family's deepest condolences to your and David's families. My daughter's
husband returns to Iraq this Fall. It is an unsettling time when we hear of
those who have given there lives to protect the freedoms we have come to
expect.
Guy
