I guess I can be counted as a "pitiful little excuse for a human," as
well.

I'll take your word for it. I guess I missed your post in this thread,
Wolfie was the only one I saw who made ignorant statements.

No, the above was my only statement to this thread. While I didn't find
Wolfgang's post particularly ignorant, I did note the ignorance of your
posts.

That's sad.

Why?

I did note the ignorance of your
posts.

Good. I was worried I was too subtle about how sickening I found
his posts. I thought they were on par with Coulter talking about
the women who lost their husbands on 9/11.

I take it that you aren't familiar with the definition of the word,
"subtle."

Sickening, disgusting, vile and worthy of contempt. Hopefully that's
not too subtle for you and Wolfie.

I can't speak for Wolfgang, but I can say that I believe a person should
speak his/her mind. Wolfgang said what was on his mind. I had a similar
feeling toward Dave's post, I just didn't post it. You made nasty remarks
regarding Wolfgang, and I just wanted you to know that not everyone is ready
to fall about themselves because Dave wants some attention.

I seek no attention, especially from you and Wolfgang. Fortenberry
spotted you for what you are long before the rest of us did. I
expected nothing more than what you and Wolfgang gave. You truly are
as pitiful as Wolfgang.

I've got a nephew. He must be.....oh, thirty or so by now, I guess.
When he was younger......much younger.....we once had a talk about
career opportunities......what he should do for aliving when he grew
up....you know, that sort of thing. I told him he should be all that
he could be.......one of the few, the proud. I told him it's not just
a job, it's an adventure. I told him he should travel the
world......for FREE! I told him about wonderful benefits. I told him
they were looking for a few good men. I told him about honor. I told
him about glory. I told him about heroism.

He didn't listen.

What a ****up.

Oh, sure, he's alive.....no widow......no orphaned children.....hasn't
killed anybody that I know of.

But he actually WORKS for a living.

What a ****up!

Say, did you ever have one of those talks with your nephew?

What did you tell him?

Wolfgang

And you, the little Lilliputian, doesn't think that DJ *worked* for a
living. You are the most pitiful human I have ever encountered. You
make the Putz look like a choir boy.

I never talked to DJ about his chosen career, but I know he was happy
in what he was doing, I know his wife and mother are very proud of
him, and his children loved him very much, and are equally proud.
You'll never have children to love or admire you, will you,
Lilliputian? I think that a wise choice.

To think that he was serving his country so little pukes like you can
have freedom of speech and everything else we have here in the U.S.
sickens me even more than his death.

I saw his ashes buried at Arlington Cemetery this afternoon. I jumped
when the seven riflemen fired their three shot volly, even though I
knew it was coming. I saw his wife presented with his Bronze Star and
Purple Heart, and the flag that draped his grave, and not once did I
think of all the little **** weazels in this country that, including
you, Lilliputian, applaud his death. I saw his brothers and sisters,
cousins, and other family members mourn his passing, and military
friends cry. All of them know about **** weazels like you, but they
know that you and your kind do not matter in *any* way. You are just
an evil entity that is in their way, and they brush you aside, knowing
you are pititul. There is a motor cycle gang at the cemetery that
guards the family from riff raff like you. They're all volunteers,
all vets, all saw action in Viet Nam or Iraq, all of them sick and
tired of people like you who applaud the death of DJ and his friends.

Some day, Lilliputian, I will see you again, and all your little shiny
new nickles will be mine. Count on it, skag.

I think the kid had a mind of his own.

http://www.militarycity.com/valor/1880663.html

Look, the boy was doing what he thought was the right thing to do, whether
you agree or not. He followed his orders and for doing so he is not coming
back and a family grieves. They aren't the only family grieving nor are we
the only country loosing some of it's best and brightest. He is not to be
held accountable that he was even over there in the first place nor should
he be accountable that thousnads of Iraqi citizens of all ages and sex have
been killed. While he should not be held accountable, by putting on that
uniform and making that trip, he made himself responsible for what happened
in his sphere of influence.

That does not make all the bloodshed OK, you're right. Nor does that make
Mr. LaCourse responsible for his nephews death.

I know what your message is in general terms and agree with some of it, but
please. Insulting Mr. Lacourse at this time over this issue will not solve
anything except to made a bad situation worse.

I'm asking you to give it a rest for this thread. There will be plenty of
other chances for you and Mr. Lacourse to tango so to speake. Please?

And as to your other comment about knowing for sure the ashes were the boy,
the body was returned and it is noted. From there, the family is dependent
upon the undertaker and we would like to assume the director's morals and
ethics were sufficent to ensure they belonged only to Dave's nephew.
