Good. I was worried I was too subtle about how sickening I found

I can't speak for Wolfgang, but I can say that I believe a person should
speak his/her mind. Wolfgang said what was on his mind. I had a similar
feeling toward Dave's post, I just didn't post it. You made nasty remarks
regarding Wolfgang, and I just wanted you to know that not everyone is ready
to fall about themselves because Dave wants some attention.

I don´t consider anybody here to be my enemy, neither did I consider
Gehrke to be an enemy, just an extremely severe pain in the butt.

When he died, people apparently were prepared to forget what he was,
and what he had done. I was not, and found the whole thing
hypocritical in the extreme.

As none of you even knew my wife, the expressions of condolence posted
here were merely a matter of good manners. Also, she died of cancer,
after a long and painful illness, she was not off somewhere in the
world engaged in an illegal war, apparently being waged for oil. Which
has beated tempers in any case.

It is always deplorable when somebody dies, most especially when such
an event should never had occurred, and could easily have been
prevented.

If the USA were a smaller country, it would already have been brought
to task for such banditry, and those responsible for the debacle
severely punished. Look to your misguided leaders as the architects of
such disaster.

The chauvinism often exhibited here, by you and others, is of itself,
embarrassing, dangerous, and lacking in all common sense. Putting it on
public display is even more so.

There are one or two here who I consider friends, and the rest are of
no importance to me.

I did not attempt to hijack anything at all, my name was brought up,
somebody mailed me about it, and I replied to the group.

The petty squabbling, and often extreme vituperation which takes place
here, has made it an extremely undesirable place to be. Even harmless
posts about fishing are jumped upon, and the posters insulted and made
to feel unwelcome.

Your motives for posting about the death of your nephew are your own
affair, and none of my business. But common sense ought to have told
you that posting it here would only bring you grief.

That much is true. There wasn't an ice cube's chance in hell
that I'd post news of my daughter's passing to roff. Send an
email to a few of my friends from here, sure, but posting
about it here would be an open invitation for the jerks to do
their jerk thing.

I regret posting it. Friends and relatives came out of the woodwork
when we first heard of DJ's death. It wasn't until late last week
that we got word of his Arlington burial. I thought I could share
this great loss with friends on roff. I forgot about my enemies - in
fact I never considered the three of them as my enemies. Live and
