Default You Can go home again

It's been nice weather in Greater Yellowstone, with afternoon storms keeping
things cooler. I see people buying Salmonfly patterns like they were going
out of style, so manybe that is happening over on the Madison.

I'm back at my favorite place, for a while

You're fortunate to be able to go home again. For many, that's not possible.
Enjoyed your site!

One of these days I'll see you on a stream - maybe somewhere near Thomas
Wolfe's home town.

It is very tough .... that is what makes it so special

The area starting at the first flat above the bridge and on up into the
islands has some HUGE fish showing themselves this year. So far they have
eluded my capture :-( but I haven't worked up the intensity the Ranch
requires, I'm currently still "Firehole Spoiled" I've taken the last few
days off to avoid 4th of July traffic, but I will rejoin the effort soon.

Just be aware that people come here from all over the world to find humility
in fishing and you'll love the place ... "expect" to do great and you'll goi
away hating the place.. All that said, don't dispair either, I've caught
lots of 20"+ fish here and I suk as a fly fisher.

My tip? He who casts the least, catches the most.

Hey Larry!

I've been following some of your posts over the past several weeks. As Jeff
indicated, we'll be there very shortly..getting down to critical mass on the
Western Clave anxiety.

It's been great having some report to read from, to get a feel for where we
are in the hatch cycles, the creek reports, and just your accounts of your
travels. Thanks for it all.

I'm guessing you're leaving bout the time we roll in, or will you be around
a few more days? We'll be getting there in less than 36 hours...

Mike

Excellent! we'll (Jeff and I) be coming through the Henry's Fork area
tomorrow as we make our way up from Jackson, but will just do a token stop
as we head up the Upper Madison (staying at the Slide Inn). Will you be
joining the Roffians at the Clave at any time?

Mike
Fat, Ugly, and will be driving whatever I can negotiate at the rental
counter..
