I'm thinking, "I wish Tim could spend more time doing what he loves
to do - fly fishing. He works so hard and deserves all of the
freedom I can give him." I absolutely cherish each moment I spend
with him, and appreciate that he treats me to a glimpse of himself
now and then on his way to and from the river.

Okay, Tim, you take the prize on this one. Is the address you post
from (minus the NO SPAM) the correct place to send the Cabela's gift
cert? If not, you can email me privately, if you don't want to post
the correct address.

That's okay - thanks. Give $10 to a charitable cause of your choice, as long
as it's not some liberal weenie group. ;-)

Indeed, she can donate it to the United States Treasury, which - thanks to our
"conservative" leaders - is about the biggest charity case on the planet....

/daytripper (there's weenies, and then there's phunny phony phucktards ;-)

I will add $10 to my current pledge to the upcoming National Kidney
Foundation blogathon. Kidney patients thank you.

Well Flyfishers,

I'll be moving on soon, but I'll keep an eye out here for a while
longer. The brewers have given me some great info, so I'm off to build
their page.

The flyfishing page is completed and linked into the rest of the site,
including the bit from Tim's...er...spouse. Thank you very much for all
your input. I've truly had a blast with you guys! You're a LOT of fun.
I hope you all receive much spousal support and very fine loot!

P.S. Oh, Hambone Slim! OK, my Pied Piper of hobby newsgroups, take me
to the acoustic guitarists! I'm really looking forward to this one. I
was in theater and circus for years and I've always had a soft spot for
musicians.

I wonder what sort of pornographic suggestions they'll make before they
figure out I'm not a spammer. You should have seen what the beekeepers
said. Wow!

You never addressed the aspect of blow jobs for fly fishermen.
I am disappointed.

It actually quite a challenge. You spend all your time standing in cold
water up to your hips. There are all sorts of obstacles to overcome.
Hmm, perhaps that's also the root of the whole masculine insecurity
problem being explored in another part of this thread.

I'm even wiling to bribe you for it. :-)

I think the thing most people whose spouses have outdoor hobbies like
about them is that the spouse gets the heck out of the house and away
without it being to the nearest beer joint / strip club. And the
spouse comes home relatively sober and relatively happy.

The spouse then has the whole day to herself (or himself, but that's
not as workable if he doesn't cook) to read a novel while soaking in a
hot bubble bath, go shopping, talk for hours on the phone, make a
quilt with only the household pets to interfere, get out the bow and
arrows and go to the targets, chop down the tree she's afraid he'll
kill with himself if he chops, work on the '57 Chev engine again, or
just sleep in. Whatever it is, the spouse can do his / her own thing.
There are spouses who resent being left alone. I'd try to explain
them some other way than by saying that they have no inner resources
and are a waste of air and space, but that could be incorrect. I
doubt it's incorrect and will take a lot of convincing if you wish to
argue.

Often taunted by trout. Almost entirely harmless. Really.

Jeez - most people don't brag about being in the circus. The guitar
newsgroup is rec.music.makers.guitar.acoustic . Pretty laid back bunch over
there; they shouldn't give you a hard time. Don't be too hard on the
beekeepers though, I'm sure if your hobby involved standing in a swarm of
angry bees you wouldn't be very cheerful either.

George: Well ordinarily I wouldn't mind. But...

Jerry: But...

George: Well I just got back from swimming in the pool. And the water was

cold...

Jerry: Oh... You mean... shrinkage.

George: Yes. Significant shrinkage!

Jerry: So you feel you were short changed.

George: Yes! I mean, if she thinks that's me she's under a complete

misapprehension. That was not me, Jerry. That was not me.

Don't get too excited. I was an electrician, not an acrobat. I did meet

I'll get over there sometime today and post my usual opener. You do
have lot of hobbies, don't you? I don't suppose you're a drummer too?
Drummers are my favorite!

BTW, your Cabela's cert in on its way. Let me know if you don't get it.

They are...creative. They think there are pits of lesbians to be had.
