"Charlie Choc" wrote in message What the
hell is wrong with you two MORONS! CAN"T Y'ALL READ! Dave never
posted that the two Fawn Lakes that he mentioned are anywhere near
Montana!
He merely posted that, "Actually there are two Fawn Lakes, and they aren't
that far apart (according to the Montana Atlas/Gazateer)." "[A]ccording
to
the Montana Atlas/Gazateer," Fawn Lakes exist somewhere!

There are several Fawn lakes very close together in New Mexico, near Taos.

It's gettin' ready to pour rain here. Thunder, lightning and all that kinda
stuff! If it (the rain water) pools up in the back yard, I'm gonna call the
pool Fawn Lake. :~^ )

The Fawn Lake that jeff refers to is in the northwest corner of the
park - actually it's Fawn Pass Tr west of Mammoth Springs where jeff
said it was. Ask Ken where his Fawn Lake is. They are not in the
same area. Ken's is in Montana and not *western* Montana.

I know where it is, I was there.

You still didn't say what page(s) the lakes are on in your gazetteer. Since you
said "according to" you ought to be able to say what pages have lakes labeled
"Fawn" on them. You also said they weren't that far apart, so they ought to be
on the same page, and you said "according to" the gazetteer 40's was just a
patch of weed - I'm curious to see how that's labeled on the map.

So, "according to" what page(s) in the gazetteer?

Ask Ken where his Fawn Lake is. They are not in the
same area. Ken's is in Montana and not *western* Montana.

40 said his was in Yellowstone off the Fawn Pass trail. There are some old
beaver ponds there that he probably confused with the lake, if he was even up
there at all and not just on a bar stool in Gardiner.

Oh boy. This is going to be good.

Maybe Ken also has an opinion about Cache Creek, Hell Roaring Creek,
Fourth of July Creek, and Warm Springs.

I'm pretty sure those are the lakes that Ken was referring to way back
at the beginning of this whole "Fawn Lake" conversation! (G) bruce h

Those Bastids...
We should be on the Madison drinking Black Butte right now watching the camp
ground go up in flames. And, JR, you could help matters by sending a case of
Black Butte my way in this god forsaken oven in Dallas!
TR: Mopin Flop: May 2006; Deschutes
1,000,000 cfs (at least 7,500)
106 degrees
50 MPH winds (Stoneflies smashed on my glasses)
fornication everywhere (those that weren't smashed)
3 drift boats never drifting
3/4- hale (sunday)
2,000 casts
2 snooters, 1 foul hooked Redside
many wind knots
State of the Flop: Less Bourbon, more Deschutes Brewery spirits, another
year older, much too sober.

Cant' say: " Thanks Lord, some days are just plain worth getting up for."
Now on 6th Lawson Creek Pale Ale due to lack of Black Butte.
Happy Days!
Guy
