![]() "Charlie Choc" wrote in message What the hell is wrong with you two MORONS! CAN"T Y'ALL READ! Dave never posted that the two Fawn Lakes that he mentioned are anywhere near Montana! He merely posted that, "Actually there are two Fawn Lakes, and they aren't that far apart (according to the Montana Atlas/Gazateer)." "[A]ccording to the Montana Atlas/Gazateer," Fawn Lakes exist somewhere! There are several Fawn lakes very close together in New Mexico, near Taos. -- Charlie... It's gettin' ready to pour rain here. Thunder, lightning and all that kinda stuff! If it (the rain water) pools up in the back yard, I'm gonna call the pool Fawn Lake. :~^ ) Op |

You still didn't say what page(s) the lakes are on in your gazetteer. Since you said "according to" you ought to be able to say what pages have lakes labeled "Fawn" on them. You also said they weren't that far apart, so they ought to be on the same page, and you said "according to" the gazetteer 40's was just a patch of weed - I'm curious to see how that's labeled on the map. So, "according to" what page(s) in the gazetteer? Ask Ken where his Fawn Lake is. They are not in the same area. Ken's is in Montana and not *western* Montana. 40 said his was in Yellowstone off the Fawn Pass trail. There are some old beaver ponds there that he probably confused with the lake, if he was even up there at all and not just on a bar stool in Gardiner. -- Charlie... http://www.chocphoto.com |

Maybe Ken also has an opinion about Cache Creek, Hell Roaring Creek, Fourth of July Creek, and Warm Springs. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |
