several of us decided to try another western gathering later in the year.
we haven't done it in september since henrys fork 4 or 5 years ago. we
also talked about focusing on the park streams and lakes. chas suggested
the dates and the central organizing committee voted, so...

next year's western thang is set for september 8-16 (that's 2007) in
yellowstone. camping will be centered at norris campground, with cabin
campers at canyon...(or wherever the hell you choose).

so, no excuses...

September is tough for me. Was planning on bringing the family next time
around but can't do Sept. due to school. May try to swing it myself, but
already mentioned it to the boys and they don't forget. May still do
Yellowstone with them and maybe the San Juan in early 2008.

Either way, Central PA in May 2007. Had another great year this year.
Depending on the timing I may take 2 weeks this year and due the full tour.
