Well Steve Huber has called me and had his wife talk to me and then called
me again. Ok Ok so my arm didn't need to be twisted, I just had to have a
little coaching in the justification department. Thanks Steve for allowing
me to once again gather my thoughts and realize there really isn't a good
enough reason to miss this years NWC.

So hopefully when I reach Moe later today we will finalize our plans to
attend this years NWC.

I for one am excited as hell about returning to Boom lake and meeting some
new people as well as catching up with some old ones.

Now now Jerry, you have to attend, maybe partner up on day one to put a
hurting on some of those finicky boom lake bass? After all we did wreck some
nice bass on our last outing and it's our kind of water and besides didn't
you help the wife with a garage sale earlier this year? Bring it up again
and make it up there

Now the rush is on to get orders done, samples sent ( sorry guys running
behind), gear together and website up and running and all this prior to
leaving here for the trip.

Charles, if Jerry can't make it we might have to bribe inky to let us take
the nitro on day one. Either way I know I will be on that boat at least one
day. It's almost like a law up there. Here's to good fishing ,good friends
and good food, exactly in that order. See everyone soon. I also have access
again to the binaries NG's so I'll post some pictures of this years fish up
there when I get a chance. Be safe, fish hard and write often.

Regards,

Awesome Randy,

I look forward to finally meeting you.

Also, did you receive my address information for the samples? I know
you said you haven't sent them yet, I just want to make sure I had the
right email address.

sic Janet on you!

LOL, I think having coffee on hand isn't a problem, and I certainly do
appreciate the Baily's...... And oddly enough, I've had a lot of people
telling me to put their name on the rod. I think I'll leave it at "2006 NWC
Champion." You can fight it out with the rest, but who knows, I might try
to keep it this year!

Chris, a while back you said that you might be bringing some friends with
you. Can you give me an update on who's attending?

Well, I've heard complaints in the past that there wasn't enough time to
fish when we ran from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. And, I heard complaints that
"I didn't have time to get breakfast in before we started." So, this year,
we're going to start at 8:00 a.m. sharp! The launch will be as usual, Hodag
Park boat landing. The finish time will be 5:00 p.m. sharp. That should be
sufficient time for everyone to catch fish.

Directions? Ok, I assume you'll be coming up Hwy 51 and into Rhinelander on
Hwy 8. If this is the case, you'll want to turn left off of Hwy 8 onto
Sutliff Ave. That's the street immediately before the Chamber of Commerce's
statue of the Hodag.

Follow Sutliff to the stop sign. Turn right on Davenport Street. At the
stoplight, turn left onto Courtney Street. Continue on, crossing the
railroad tracks, up the hill and you're almost there. Take a left on Rose
Street (I believe), and you're at the landing. You really can't miss it as
there's a sign that says "Boat Landing".

See you on Thursday morning!

Did you make good use of that blank that I sent home with you? Just
wondering if/how that turned out.

Not yet. I've been busy contacting companies for doorprizes, working,
guiding and doing some FastCat business. But it's starting to pay off.

We have prizes donated by the following companies so far,

Gander Mountain, Flying Fisherman Sunglasses, AutoZone, TruValue Hardware,
NAPA, Lunker City, GoTo Lures, Driftwood Lures, Mel's Trading Post,
Athlete's Foot and Rhinelander GM.

I'm heading out today to talk to some other companies. If there's anyone
out there that is planning on coming and could possibly snag something to
bring along, that would be greatly appreciated.
