The company folded because
of management issues, not the quality of the boats.

I figured that... Bayliner appears to make it even though they are
garbage.

Still Ever see any Winners on the water?

As a matter of fact, I do. There are a couple of them I see around the
northeast every now and again. I always take notice of them, because I
liked mine so much.

The principal in Winner headed up the Nitro division of BPS for a year
or two some time after Winner went out, but I don't know what happened
to him after that.

Thanks for your insight!!

I went to look at this guy...

http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/8/2/85356582.htm

Beautifull Boat... Looks like the owner took great care of it and his
kids got it out and hit something good with the lower unit.. The lower
unit was repaired and the transom had cracks along the splash well.
They looked deeper then the gelcoat but I may be wrong..

6K seamed pretty high for an 88...

Jeff

Yeah -- about 3K too high.

My kid bought a Dynatrak F&S of about that vintage last year (similar
interior layout, BTW) for $2200.

It wasn't in as good a shape as that one looks though. But still -- 6
grand is way out of whack.

I would have maybe gave him 4500 if the Transom was clean... It was a
beautifull boat..

The dealer told me it was just stress cracks and that 90% of all used
boats have them.. I dont buy it..

I see Winners in Other states going for 5k - 6.5k.. These dealers are
nutts..

Maybe I need to lose my Winner Obsession.. I just remember my Parents
Chameleon was a great boat.

Hi Rich,

Ebbtide had a Campioni model that looks like it was build on the
DynaTrak Designs..
Pretty slick..

It is like they stripped off anything fishing related..

Even though I am not a big time fisherman I would still like the luxary
of having the fishing addons.
