part two --delete Roff

thanks for all the suggestions--I will try to understand them tomorrow PM

but think I need to explain what I'm doing now---
read messages on a newsgroup- roff- bass fishing etc--then want to delete so
I hit
Tools-Options-Maintenance-clean up now-delete-yes-close- ok
Is there another way to delete all read messages on a newsgroup? The
problem ( I have just realized } is that this method deletes all other
unread newsgroups.

Please realize that when you send suggestions for better methods you are
writing to an old indian who never was even any good at starting the fire
under the blanket ! Keep it simple- thanks

Soooo.... What's your progress so far..... I ask because much of my
working day concerns users interfacing with GUI's... (Graphical User
Interfaces) did you accomplish your goal?
Did you get rid of all the flotsam?
