Big Fish,
I use them, my best colors are Chartreuse and white. I mostly use them on swim jigs, but sometimes I will just throw them by themselves in open water on a ball head jig. Chris BIG FISH 2006 wrote: does anyone here use single tail grubs in the fall? if so what are the best colors. Big Fish |

Especially this year with the dry weather, our lake is crystal clear.

In the single action tail, it goes Green Gourd, Green Pumpkin, black, smoke pepper and chartreuse pepper. I just caught a bunch of fish on a green gourd single tail grub yesterday, nudging it alling the bottom in 20 to 32 feet of water. In the others, plain smoke is #1 and watermelonseed, or something close to it is #2. |

Big Fish I agree with the white unless the water is murky or muddy then I like Chartruese with sparkle in it or a peper Chartruse. Ive had a lot of success with Smallmouths on Pickwick Lake in Alabama using rootbeer pepper. |
