Big Fish,

I use them, my best colors are Chartreuse and white. I mostly use them
on swim jigs, but sometimes I will just throw them by themselves in open
water on a ball head jig.

Especially this year with the dry weather, our lake is crystal clear.

I use single tail grubs, flat tail grubs and boot tail grubs.

In the single action tail, it goes Green Gourd, Green Pumpkin, black,
smoke pepper and chartreuse pepper. I just caught a bunch of fish on a
green gourd single tail grub yesterday, nudging it alling the bottom in
20 to 32 feet of water.

In the others, plain smoke is #1 and watermelonseed, or something close
to it is #2.

I agree with the white unless the water is murky or muddy then I like
Chartruese with sparkle in it or a peper Chartruse.
Ive had a lot of success with Smallmouths on Pickwick Lake in Alabama using
rootbeer pepper.
