So what has been happening with you folks? I hope you all had a nice
season.

I had today off so I was up organizing my 'den' and I rediscovered some
real treasures! I have bags of flies from previous ROFF swaps
including a Christmas wrapped fly box filled with flies when I was gots
to be a swapmeister! Good memories there for me! So I am taking them
all out and putting them in a special box to keep and look at as the
rain pelts the Pacific Northwest into mush.

I also have that wonderful reel Mike Connor sent to me as a present and
one of Ernie's blood knot machines. I see Zimbo's fly rod case with my
favorite 3-weight rod inside.

I don't get by much anymore but I do enjoy reminiscing from time to
time.

Happy winter, tight lines and keeps tying scissors razor sharp!

Padishar Creel aka Chris Fanning

PS Special thanks to JR for your timely trip reports -- you saved the
day many times

Hey, Chris,

Good to see you're alive and kickin' even if you don't hang
around here much anymore. 'Course, *that* could be evidence of
an outbreak of good sense, straight priorities, etc.

Hope you're well and getting a chance to get out fishing now and
then. I've been side-lined for a bit with some medical problems
but expect to fish a bit more over the winter... and maybe even
post a TR or two....

Take care of yourself,

JR

Ditto.

There seems to be a lot of that **** goin' round these days. This is
unacceptable. Somebody do something about that!

Take care of yourself,

It begins to look as if that will not be a viable option for long for
many of us.

Wolfgang
