Well today at 4:00 PM we play Montana St. I was specially selected to work
today's game, cause no one else could or would work it. I'll be finishing up an Analysis Project for my research methods class, while watchin' ASU run all over Montana St., I hope! On or about the 8th or 9th of Dec. we will play either Illinois St. or Youngstown St., with the blessings of Allah(PBUH), Jesus H. Christ (PBUH), Buddha (PBUH), Vishnu (PBUH), Zeus (PBUH), Athena (PBUH), Foghorn Leghorn (PBUH). I-AA brackets can be found he http://tinyurl.com/y42692 I have lost 99% of the grip in both hands and am having great difficulty typing this post, but I will be in the capable hands of Dr. Maxy on Dec. 8th, at which time I hope to regain my hands. OBROFF--I bumped into coach Moore, ASU's venerable leader, the other day at the Physical Plant Warehouse. He was scouting large chalk boards and as ASU's (OLD & TBC) Outside Lighting Director and The ******* Child, I was procuring some high-pressure sodium lamps. Having a few minutes on our hands, which is all that my hands can handle, presently, we discussed sportz. I congratulated the coach on last seasons National Championship and this seasons victories and SoCon Championship. Fly fishing came up, don't remember how but I'm certain that I didn't mention it :~^ ) As it turns out, coach Moore is a very pleasant and friendly sort of fella. He said that he had been fly fishing out on Montana, but hadn't had an opportunity to do any locally. I, humbly, offered to guide him--for some championship tickets--and he reluctantly accepted. He asked for my ph.# and said he'd become a real nuisance, come Spring. I sure hope he's as honest as he is personable. I really need the connection, having told our new Physical Plant Director, my BIG BOSS, and recently retired Navy Capt., to "Blow me! You filthy pig-mouthed *******!" Which he took very well, I might add, but everyone else in the room seemed to have vapor-locked? But I digress. Op |

There seemed to be many young "hunters" at the game. Where we park our state vehicles, there's a group of regular drunken alumni. We hang with them and get a kick out of their antics. One of 'em is the fella I mentioned after the furman game who walked out of the stadium in his red skivvies, having lost a bet on the points spread. We kicked the **** out of Montana and the refs. Montana could do no wrong and we must have received at least 5 unsportzman like conduct penalties? Final score 38-17. http://www.goasu.com/ wow, mark, i am really vibing for your recovery. keep us apprised of your progress. I hope to be able to fend for myself, not too long after surgerey. But failing that, my 73 y.o. mommie will tend to me. Thank Allah et al. for mommie! Op --thanks for the thoughts counselor-- yfitp wayno |

Montana has to take care of buisness with UMass before they can play with ASU. If that should come to pass, We are planning to be in Chatty on the 15th as we are going to be in Louisville for my daughter commissioning in the Army Reserve. jh |

We battle Youngstown St. this Sat. at 4:00 PM and I sure hope Catawba Valley Medical Center has ESPN, or I may have to have an ambulance transfer me to the nearest hospital with cable and ESPN! If that should come to pass, We are planning to be in Chatty on the 15th as we are going to be in Louisville for my daughter commissioning in the Army Reserve. If you are a Montana fan I wish you well against UMass. I can only hope ASU has what it take to get to Chattanooga. Congrats on your daughters Commision. Op jh |

Op Well wishes and speedy recovery on your surgery! I personally am a Montana State fan, but live in Missoula, It's pretty much impossible not to follow the Griz living here. some with sterner constitution than myself have managed. Actually, one daughter has a UM degree (my reservist) and one has an MSU degree (my nurse). and the Griz are the home town team- even if not my alma mater. My wife and I have season tickets to the Griz games. was really hoping for an all Montana championship game- don't know how i'd have cheered that one. best wishes, John. |

![]() "daytripper" wrote in message ... So...what was Plan B? ;-) That was a pretty good game to watch, with the score close to the end. But the UMass defense was the dominant factor, and a good defense will wreak havoc on a good offense. I'll have to check the stats but I suspect UMass's offense doubled Montana's net yards. Where is the final game being played? /daytripper Chattynuga! ASU plays Youngstown St. today at 4:00 PM, and it's being broadcast on ESPN. I just got in from yesterday's surgery about 30 minutes ago. Had surgery at 11:00 AM and was released at 11:00 AM today. I'm at my home, didn't have to stay at mother's or my aunt's place, but I can't drive for a week and have to wear the neck brace for a week too :~^ ( Upside, 90 percocets! and no real pain to speak of. I already have regained the strength in my hands, arms and shoulders!! It's amazing what a little bit of back surgery can do for a fella. I'll likely go back to work after next week, but I won't do anything...nothing....NADA...zilch!!! It's so nice to feel whole again--physically that is. The doc said there is no hope for me mentally or emotionally :~^ ( Op |
