Last time I donated, they had some sort of two-fer pheresis machine that could extract two units of red blood cells but replace the fluid. I've done the plasmapheresis thing before; but it's still weird to have stuff flowing back into your arm that's a slightly different temperature than what's already there. Joe F. |
