New Zealand, Argentina, Chili or the tropics?

My friends who go every year for a month say it is cheaper than fishing in
Montana except for the airfare.

We have some friends who go down to New Zealand every winter and tour
around on their own for a month or more. They rent a car for a month and
stay in affordable cottages. It's no more expensive than fishing on your
own in Montana.


My guess is that NZ is quite a bit cheaper than Montana, airfare excluded.
Roger and I rented a car for US$150 for a week, and another US$150 for a
week at a cottage on a trout stream, 2 BR, 1bath, full kitchen facilities.
