Huh? This outfit seems to be in Michigan. A short distance from the
Spring Fling, but doable, I guess?

Op

Well it's about ten hours from the Spring clave so that's two
days...unless you want to drive at night. Switching drivers makes a night
drive possible....are you going to be at the spring clave? If you are,
I'll definitely plan my trip so as to be there when you are...unless that
changes your plans!

Sadly, not this year :~^ (

Wolf and I found a stream that you wouldn't believe...right by the road,
pretty and just chock full of little brookies...

That figures. It's always Wolfgang, isn't it.

You are correct sir! I will make it up your way one day, much to your
shigrin. I'm just not one to fly and my vehicles of the last few years are
not the travelin' kind. Tax refund may improve matters a bit this year
though. I'll attempt to co-ordinate things with Jeff and John and you and
others as to the most feasible 'Clave for me. I'n thinkin' of going West,
young man, or North?

while i enjoy penns and the rapid, if i was making or suggesting a
choice (and i am), i'd choose west. ...or were you talking about west
as in graham county?

No, I was thinking Jellystone West. I'd have to have two weeks or better
time off, as I don't fly.

North would be up Wolfie's way.

yeah, i used to say that too. amazing the courage you'll muster after
seeing children and skinny wimmen fearlessly board a plane. the wussy
burden becomes unbearable. plus, that's a really long drive...i'd hate
to spend half of my vacation blasting across country in a car. i'd plan
for a month-long trip before considering a drive across country, and
then i'd find waypoints of interest along the route.

North would be up Wolfie's way.

i'd still say west... except, of course, the north does provide the
prospect of wolf's evil sense of humor and excellent discourse on things
historical and literary...as well as becky's exceptional common
sense.g but if you want to chase trout while elk bugle, buffalo
meander by, and wolves, eagles, pronghorns, antelope and big horn sheep
share some of the most beautiful country in the lower 48...well, even
the wonderful wilds of wisconsin and the yoop can't compare.

We have our own brand of bucolically charming scenery here but Mr.
Miller is right. Our geography is what it is by virtue of where it
is......middling. I can find adequate diversion here to justify the
time and effort but Middleton (and Muir.....as well as myriad others)
was right.....the mountains, left or right, have an attractive force
greater than mere gravity or magnetism.

If elected, I will not serve.
